Ever since I saw electric beds for the first time I knew I had to have one. Let me tell why and how I did it…
I first saw one on TV. It wasn’t an advert or anything like that, it was on a television show. For the life of me I can’t remember which one but that doesn’t matter. I remember my initial thoughts when I saw it… ‘I have to get myself one of these’.
I was quite young at the time… in my early 20s, and the guy on TV must’ve been around that age too. Perhaps if the guy was older then my initial feelings about electric beds would have been different but he wasn’t.
That is what I don’t get about some people and their views on electric beds. They think they are only for ‘old people’. This is simple not true. What is true is that some of their features appear to the older generation but that doesn’t mean they are for ‘old people’.
In fact, what appealed to me the most of was being able to rise the mattress to the desired point and it would stay there. This meant that I could read in bed, something that I love to do, but not have to mess around with the stupid pillows that would only result in me feeling uncomfortable and getting frustrated.
But that is just me… and there are plenty of other reasons to love them.
I would like to talk and show you a little about saving a little money with them. I am not talking about buying cheap electric beds… I want you to get the best for the best price. It does involve following a simple process that you should be able to do.
Firstly, I have to stress that buying electric beds online is often the cheapest way to do it. Not all the time but generally it is. And it is the internet where we start. We aren’t going to buy straight away… we are just looking for now.
After we spend a little time researching online… and I am talking about prices, features, styles etc (and there are a lot of features for you to get your head around). It is time to hit the shops.
You are going to try some electric beds for yourself and find out which ones you like and which features you need. Ask the shop assistant lots of questions. They should have a great deal of knowledge so put them to the test.
Now… armed with you basket of knowledge and experience it is time to go back online. I know some of you will be thinking that this is a lot of hassle but it doesn’t really save money in the long run.
Search for electric beds sales. You are should be able to find some if you look carefully enough. If you find one then see if there are any with the features that you require on sale. I am sure, that with a keen eye, you should be able to spot a bargain!
